I love when I hear a song that I can just drown in. It just covers me and soothes me and I slip away silently into my own little word. It suffocates me in such a pleasurable way. I don’t care about what it is going on outside or around me. The only thing that matters in that moment is the beat, the tempo, the voice, the sound of it all merging, mixing, and melting over my ears, my skin, my entire body. It covers me, it completes me. It becomes me.
